Orange Blossom Hair Clip

This listing is for a sterling silver Orange Blossom Hair Clip. You can wear these a variety of ways. In the photos are two examples of different hair styles, but the possibilities are endless!

A true labor of love that was handcrafted with Southern Pacific Railroad China. These orange blossom ceramics were once dinnerware, used in SP's Passenger Train Dining Cars. Dating back to the early 1900's, and made into jewelry by me, in the 20th century. The hand crafted, fine detailed silver ornamentation gives the antique dinnerware a modern wearable twist. 

The beautiful Orange Blossom on this plate was hand cut by me. It was meticulously shaped into a cabochon. It was carefully set in a scalloped fine silver bezel. All along the hair clip, are several hand stamped embellishments, as far as the eye can see. It was given a dark patina, to give the polished silver a high contrast. It is attached to a pre fabricated clip that can easily be opened and closed onto the hair.
