Orange Blossom Stud Hoops
This listing is for a pair of sterling silver Orange Blossom Stud Hoops. Each pair was hand crafted with Southern Pacific Railroad China. These orange blossom ceramics were once dinnerware, used in SP's Passenger Train Dining Cars. Dating back to the early 1900's, and made into jewelry by me, in the 20th century. The hand crafted, fine detailed silver ornamentation gives the antique dinnerware a modern wearable twist.
The beautiful Orange Blossoms were hand cut by me and meticulously shaped into cabochons. They were carefully set in serrated sterling silver bezels and soldered onto a hand stamped back plate. This created such a lovely frame that compliments the Orange Blossom centerpiece. A dark patina gives the polished frame a high contrast.
Each earring has a standard size post soldered onto the back, which comes with a sterling silver ear nut.
