The Inflorescence Hoops (large gauge)

The Inflorescence Hoops! My new large gauge hoop design that I hope to see more of in the future. 

Featuring two pieces of Union Pacific Railroad China. Often times, railroad china was thrown off of dining cars, whenever a plate or cup broke. What better way to preserve its history, than to wear it in a silver piece of jewelry.

These beauties are specifically crafted for folks with stretched ears. The base of the hoop is forged out of 10g sterling silver wire. With that said, your ears must be stretched for these to fit. The back plate consists of hand stamped designs that resemble flowers in bloom. These hoops have a lot of fine details, for example the beaded edge that you can find above the china plate setting. Another is the hand stamped details that were individually soldered onto the base of the hoop. After, they were sawed, filed, and sanded for comfort. So much intention went into these hoops you see here. Definitely a true labor of love!
