Tidal Wave Hoops (large gauge)

This listing is for some pretty eye catching handmade large gauge hoops featuring two pieces of Union Pacific Railroad China. Often times, railroad china was thrown off of dining cars, whenever a plate or cup broke. What better way to preserve its history, than to wear it in a silver piece of jewelry.

These beauties are specifically crafted for folks with stretched ears. The base of the hoop is forged out of 10g sterling silver wire. With that said, your ears must be stretched for these to fit.

The teardrop shaped cabochon rests in a fine silver scalloped bezel. The bezel is attached to the sterling silver back plate that was thoughtfully adorned with elegant stamp patterns. These hoops have a lot of fine details, for example the base of the hoop itself has even been stamped. So much intention went into these hoops you see here. Definitely a true labor of love!
